A keyboard test is a quick way to find keys that do not respond, repeat unexpectedly or behave differently from the rest of the keyboard. The tester runs directly in your browser, so there is nothing to install and your keystrokes are not sent to a server.
The on-screen layout is useful after cleaning a keyboard, replacing keycaps, buying a used keyboard or troubleshooting a laptop. It can also identify the physical KeyboardEvent code for the key you are pressing and show combinations that are held at the same time.
Keyboard events are processed in this page. No account or upload is required to run the test.
